I launched VIACNC in 2001, since then I've been on a mission to redefine what “heavy-duty” really means for CNC lathes.
We see many machines labeled ‘heavy-duty,’ but often, they don’t meet the mark. True heavy-duty turning means handling large cuts at low revs without compromising on accuracy or surface finish, even for precise threading.
With my background as an apprentice-trained engineer, and turner I saw a gap in the market: machines capable of turning large components but with the performance and durability needed for demanding applications. This insight led me to partner with manufacturers and make extensive modifications to motors, gearboxes, and turrets—ensuring VIACNC’s lathes deliver unmatched stability and precision.
